Crescent Moon, Mars & Pleiades Converge
July 11
Early on the morning of July 11, 2026 wake up early to see an amazing sight rising in the eastern morning sky. The Pleiades open star cluster (M45) the crescent Moon, red Mars and the bright orangish star Aldebaran in Taurus will be putting on a fantastic show together. Uranus will be in the mix too but you’ll need binoculars or a telescope to see it. The best time to look will be about an hour before sunrise or about 5:15 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. CDT for those in the DFW area.
