Partial Solar Eclipse – June 10, 2002

The eclipse began on June 10, 2002 at 7:27 p.m. CDT. 59% of the Sun’s diameter was eclipsed at maximum eclipse which occurred at 8:21 p.m. CDT with the Sun just 2 degrees above the western horizon as viewed from my location. The eclipse images on this page were obtained using a tripod and a Panasonic MiniDV Palmcorder model DV-701D with a Mylar filter. I viewed this eclipse from One Broadcast Hill in east Fort Worth, Texas.
