June 29, 2025

The Moon and Mars will be very close, less than half a degree, from each other with the brightest star in Leo, Regulus seen just 7 degrees below and to their right on the evening of June 29th. This will make for a great photo op. Look in west southwest sky at about 9:30 p.m. local DFW time.
