DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Perseid meteor shower is expected to peak on the night of August 12 and dawn of August 13. Although the moon will be about 50 percent illuminated\, it will set at midnight\, so the best viewing conditions will be early in the morning until dawn on the 13th.
